1. About these Terms
These Terms govern your use of cobaltzpathways.com and any services provided by Cobaltz Pathways ("we", "us"). By using the site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Our services
Cobaltz Pathways provides advisory and administrative support including (but not limited to): SFE eligibility assessment, university admissions guidance, personal statement workshops, and document review. We are an independent consultancy and do not represent the Student Loans Company, Department for Education, or any specific university.
3. No guarantees
We make every effort to support a successful application, but we cannot guarantee:
- Acceptance of an SFE application by the Student Loans Company
- Admission to any specific university or course
- The amount of funding awarded
Final decisions rest with the relevant institutions. SFE applications can always be submitted free of charge directly via gov.uk.
4. Fees
All fees are quoted in writing before work begins. We invoice for agreed services only — no hidden charges. Payment terms are stated in your individual service agreement.
5. Refunds
Where a service has been booked but not yet delivered, you may cancel and receive a full refund within 14 days under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Once work has commenced, refunds are pro-rated based on work completed. Specific refund terms are set out in your service agreement.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Submit documents and respond to requests in a timely manner
- Not submit fraudulent or misleading information — doing so may constitute an offence under UK law
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid by you for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website (text, design, logos, images) is owned by Cobaltz Pathways and protected by UK copyright. Personal statement drafts, course recommendations, and bespoke advice produced for you remain your property after delivery.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the site after changes means acceptance of the new Terms.
